A demonstration of ‘sidechaining‘/’ducking‘, the popular “pumping and breathing” effect, used on countless electronic and dance tracks.

1. Drop a Compressor to the channel you want to ‘duck’.
2. Click on the ‘Sidechain toggle‘ right next to the power button to open up the sidechain parameters.
3. Click ‘Sidechain‘.
4. Select the channel you want to act as a trigger from Audio From. (Usually a kick drum)
5. Drop the Threshold to your desired amount and adjust the Attack & Release as well.
